In the summer of 1971 I did one small multimedia piece for 26 days in July and August. Each is on an 8"x10" piece of construction paper. They are all multi media done in pastels, ink, ebony pencil and gauche. Accomplishing this disciplined a body of more or less traditional painted work was very rewarding since this was a time when I experimented with painting found objects like wicker chairs, a car hood and half tires because I had become self conscious of the obvious "window like" concept of painting on canvas (or just as much paper!)"
